More than 5,000,000 map loads a month? From €1,999 a month, billed yearly. Allowances sized to your traffic, dedicated tile and render capacity in the EU, an SLA with a named contact, and a signed DPA. If usage grows past what we agreed, we talk first; nothing is paused without that conversation, and nothing is billed.

Questions

What counts as a map load?
Each time a page or an app shows a map. Panning, zooming and every tile after that are part of the same load, and a map left open stays one load for up to 24 hours. A map further down a page counts only once a visitor scrolls to it. Raster tiles with a key in the tile URL, for QGIS or a WordPress map plugin, count fifty to a load.
What counts as a search?
Each of these is one search: looking up an address or a business, finding what is at a point on the map, asking for a height, a route (however many stops), or the area you can reach in a given time. A distance table gives the travel time from every place in one list to every place in another, and is one search for every pair: from 10 shops to 20 delivery addresses is 10 × 20 = 200. Suggestions while someone types are free, up to ten times your monthly searches. Searches are counted apart from map loads, with their own rollover, surge pool and top-ups.
What happens if I go over my plan?
Nothing is charged. Your bank, the surge pool and any top-ups are used first. Then a paid plan keeps running while we get in touch (fair use applies, see the Terms), and on Free new map loads pause until the 1st while open maps keep working. We email you at 50%, 80% and 100%.
How do rollover and the surge pool work?
A fifth of what you don't use rolls into next month, up to half a month's allowance. The surge pool is half a month's allowance per calendar quarter, for launches and busy weeks. Searches and static images work the same way on their own allowances.
What are top-ups?
Prepaid packs on any plan, Free included, for the meter you choose: from €5 for 20,000 map loads, 8,000 searches or 8,000 static images. They are used after the allowance, bank and surge pool, never expire and are never bought for you.
Why does it cost less?
The map data is OpenStreetMap and the styles are open MapLibre, so there is no licence fee inside the price. And the tiles come from our own servers behind a flat-rate edge network, so our costs do not grow with every load.
How do billing, VAT and cancelling work?
Paddle is our merchant of record: it runs checkout, sends invoices and handles VAT, and prices include VAT. Change plan or cancel any time under Plan & billing. Upgrades apply at once; a smaller plan starts next month. A yearly plan costs ten months.
Who runs Maps by DeltaBreen?
DeltaBreen Limited, a company registered in Ireland (number 826627), in Gorey, Co. Wexford, Ireland. The servers are in the EU, and support comes from the people who run the service.
What happens if you ever close?
We would tell you by email at least six months before, as the Terms promise. Your styles are open MapLibre JSON on OpenStreetMap data, so you can export them any day and take them to another host or your own server.
